During the treatment with HOT and COLD stones it is determined what parts of the body will be treated. During the treatment the stones are massaged or moved back and forth over the body areas being treated. HOT items diffuse or thin blood in the body tissues and COLD on the other hand propels the blood out of the tissue. This is an effective treatment for removing lactic acid from the tissue where treatment is occurring. The stones are moved around with light pressure.
